Hello, my name is Mike Field – or at least that’s my pen name!

I have lived in a village in the Chilterns for over 40 years. After a life working in the financial sector and commuting into London every day, I have now retired and enjoy travel, photography and, more recently, writing.

My first novel – ‘A Difficult Truth’ was published in March 2024. It is based in the village of Diston St. Peter in the Chilterns. My second book  about the Reverend Robin and his wife Penny, 'The Missing Madonna', will be published in Spring 2025.
